On the honourary occasion of Kuvempu’s centenary birthday we at Aviratha had organized cultural competitions  for students of all ages. This event was conducted on the 23rd of Oct 2004 at KPTCL school campus near SJRCerdana;" College, Bangalore.

As a special event there was Essay writing for General PublicEvent: Essay WritingTopic: “Kuvempu Matthu Vaichaarikathe Indina Prastuthate”, meaning “Kuvempu’s ideas, ideology in the Globalized Contemporary World”.

The winners were awarded the prizes as a part of the Centenary birthday celebrations held at Ravindra Kalakshetra, Bangalore on the 29th of December 2004.
